Job Description

This committee plans and recommends maintenance of all the common areas landscaping; including trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, lawns, and bark dusted grounds.  CAL also plans and recommends maintenance for hardscapes such as the brick walls, common area asphalt pathways, concrete sidewalks, the clubhouse parking lot, as well as outdoor lighting.

Fairway Village Common Area Landscaping (CAL) Committee Scope  

 410 Deciduous Trees  

 40 Evergreen Trees  

 2.46 Acres of Lawn  

 2.43 Acres of Open Ground with Bark Nuggets 

 762 Shrubs and 6 Hedges  

 2.95 Miles of Sidewalks (concrete)  

 One half a mile asphalt walking path with resting benches  

 Approx 5,000 sq ft of  Flower Beds

Scope of CAL within the Village (inside the walls), including the surroundings of the Clubhouse (see  revised CAL Committee Job Description as of March 2020):  

Over 2 acres of Lawn inside the Brick Wall 

 Approx 5,000 sq ft of Annuals Flower Beds  

 156 Deciduous Trees  

 40 Evergreen Trees  

 575 Shrubs  

 One half a mile asphalt walking path with rest and viewing areas
